Senior Cat

Pets who are 6 years old or over are available for adoption at no cost to adopters who are age 65 and older!

Why should seniors adopt a senior?

Having a pet to care for brings joy and purpose to your life, gives you a reason to get out and exercise, helps you live longer, and best of all, brings you unconditional love, which is definitely beneficial to your health!

Plus, studies have shown the following benefits to having a cat or dog:

  • lower blood pressure and cholesterol
  • reduced stress
  • reduced risk of heart disease
  • faster surgical recovery
  • helps to fight loneliness and depression
  • stimulus to exercise
  • longer, happier life in general!

Our Barn Cats:
